I'm not really a techy kind of guy. I do like technology and new bells an whistles. I have a connect with TP8i and blackberry that allows access to my contacts in 8i. I back up my BB weekly. Recently I noticed a "never sync"ed message on the BB apt. So when I decided to sync it told me i needed an update. Okay, I decided okay. Took a little while to complete. When finished I checked my 8i for a contact and descovered all my 8ik data was gone from my BB. Crap. Now I trying a full restore and currently at packet 10 of 814. i don't think so. I'm calling 8i.

Broke ground this week for a 700 sq ft garden. I have no clue what's going to happen. Considering this a test season with the concept of continuous improvement in mind. Corn, beans, tomatoes, peas cucumbers, squash, peppers, radish, onions, zucchini, asparagus, and garlic. Yeah I know, you're thinking is he nuts? We'll see. Garlic, radish, and onions are in. Asparagus and peas today. Yumm. Hope it works. BTW, lots of help from youtube. Screwy stuff this gardening.

Check Washing - What is it?
Using a process known as check washing, mail snatchers erase the ink on a check with chemicals found in common household cleaning products or on the shelves of your local Walmart and then rewrite the checks to themselves, increasing the amount payable by hundreds and even thousands of dollars. Suggest this link http://www.ckfraud.org/washing.html Includes a preventive tactic to protect yourself.

QR Codes
Ran across something called a "QR Code." Quick Response. Apparently you can scan these codes wherever they appear and connect to the data represented. This code is represented as an image:

Scan device is a supported smartphone such as Blackberry, iPhone, etc. Adding this QR Code to an ad for your listing in the print media will get the reader instant access to a web page for the property by scanning with their smart phone. Cool.

iPhone App For Real Estate

The Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Home Selection Assistant iPhone app allows you to take pictures of the properties you see, organize these pictures in albums and see them on a map, rank them, and send them to your family and friends via Facebook or email.
With iPhone's built-in location finder, you can find a Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate agent in your area and also learn about neighborhood information including data on local schools, nearby restaurants and shops, and comparable home prices. And best of all, it's free!
